
Mir Kamin is a busy writer, mom, wife, and spoiled-dog-wrangler. Mir spent the bulk of her life as a skinny couch potato; you hated her, because she could eat and eat and believed that the only good reason to run is if you’re being chased. Surgical menopause half-a-dozen years ago left a reality check where her uterus used to be, and she is now engaged in a constant war with the siren song of snack foods and the expansion of her backside.
For this challenge, Mir will be following a wheat-free, South Beach-esque diet plan, cultivating slavish devotion to her elliptical trainer, and utilizing a variety of Wii Fit workout games. Her goal is to be bikini-worthy once again, but she’ll settle for thighs that don’t continue jiggling for five minutes after she stops moving.
