I am trying to lose one Schubert (about 17 and a half pounds) because that’s what I gained as I lay in the bed, post surgery, eating post surgical mac-n-chee with pounds of post [...] Hello! We here at Five Full Plates are not dead, we are just terribly busy. Doing… things. And also stuff. You know how it is. Joshilyn is busy on book tour; Lydia is busy getting ready for France; Gray is busy getting better, stronger, and faster than before; Kira is busy chasing feral children out [...] 1) That summer is no time to be learning things. The mamas here on 5 Full Plates are all not waving in the first week of summer, we are drowning it. We each have our own super great excuses for not being able to manage a single lima bean’s worth of MORE on our [...] Moxie. We has it. This week wraps up the “Discomfort Zone” for most of us, though one or two Plates may want to carry on for another week. This is totally the Saturday update, you just missed it yesterday. Yes. Yes you did. STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT. Okay, fine. We are so busy daring the pants off of ourselves that somehow we (read: I) were not able to get all of our updates together yesterday. In our somewhat patchy sort of infinite wisdom, we have decided to check in on Saturdays, to give a snapshot of where we are in the current challenge – the I Dare You Challenge. SO far, we mostly seem to think it means we have to get shovels and attack our crap-closets.
